The terms under which Handsell is offered.

Short version: Handsell is a tool for making and sharing book boards. The boards you create are yours. Use covers and content you have the right to use. Handsell Pro is an optional subscription billed by Apple. The app is provided as-is, and we keep no server-side data about you.

1. Using Handsell

Handsell is licensed, not sold, to you for personal use on Apple devices you own or control, subject to Apple’s standard App Store terms (the “Licensed Application End User License Agreement”). You agree not to reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the app.

2. Your content

You own the curations you create. Handsell claims no ownership over your boards or the books you choose. Because your content is stored on your device, you are responsible for your own backups (for example, via iCloud device backup).

3. Book covers and third-party data

Cover images and book details are retrieved from third-party open book-data services (such as Google Books and Open Library) and remain the property of their respective owners. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any image you add — including photos you capture — and for how you share boards you export. Use Handsell to celebrate books, not to infringe others’ rights.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Handsell is free to download. Handsell Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription offered at $4.99/month or $29.99/year (prices may vary by region and over time). Payment is charged to your Apple ID; subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

5. Availability and changes

We work to keep Handsell working well, but features may change, and looks or services that depend on third parties (like cover lookups) may be unavailable at times. We may update or discontinue features over time.

Handsell is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Codeful is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
